Kathleen started her nursing career at Mass General in Boston. Kathy started her career as a surgical technologist and received her bachelor's degree in nursing from Northeastern University. She has since worked at Lahey Clinic Medical Center, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center where she was involved in staff education and was a BLS instructor, and Boston IVF as the Peri-operative nurse manager. She joined the Mass General North Shore Team in 2009 and has advanced to the Nurse Coordinator role. She has been instrumental in the regional block program and in establishing protocols for imaging processes for ENT patients. Kathy is deeply involved in preparatory drilling with the OR team. Kathy believes in strong staff support to assure that they can give their best to the patient is key in team centered, patient focused care.
