Casey Orth-Nebitt grew up in Iowa and choose the career of nursing after attending a high school career day. She started her nursing career in Virginia in 2006. After moving back to Iowa in 2008, she became a circulating nurse at Mercy Hospital in Sioux City. In 2011, she came back to her hometown hospital, BVRMC, later becoming the Director of the OR in 2015. In 2017, Casey accepted the OR Manager Emerging Leader Award in Orlando. She has overseen many changes since 2015, including a renovation which incorporated the latest 4k Video Technology. She has been featured in Outpatient Surgery and OR Manager Publications. When she is not at work supporting the OR team, she enjoys spending time with her husband and four kids on the lake.
