How can you make your voice heard when your director isn’t a postop nurse, or has limited understanding of PACU standards of care and processes? Davis and Anderson will highlight the “must haves” and “must do’s” in order to create a professional and functional relationship with your one up. Facility policies and procedures, national standards, and the department’s Scope of Service play an integral part in forming and solidifying this relationship. You’ll learn the importance of data and how to ensure that it is complete, accurate, and defendable. Then you’ll be able to let the numbers talk for you as you make your voice heard.
