John Kimsey is the National Director Professional Services for STERIS and STERIS IMS. He has 28 years of management and operational experience in healthcare, manufacturing and service industries. His holistic approach to understanding and addressing the issues facing today's Central Sterile and Perioperative environments combine clinical requirements, lean philosophies, management systems, manufacturing best practices and cultural change factors to improve patient outcomes while meeting business objectives. John has worked for STERIS in the sterile processing field since 2002 consulting, managing, and improvement sterile processing departments across the country. John has a unique background of overseeing both on-site and off-site sterile processing centers, process improvement in small to large healthcare systems, and operational performance improvement in non-healthcare industrial operations. He is a certified Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt. John lives in Spokane, Washington with his beautiful wife, four children, and two cats.
