Dr. Darin Flynn is the Director of the Preadmission Clinic at Carson Tahoe Hospital in Carson City, Nevada. Dr. Flynn supervises a full-time preoperative nursing staff, in addition to managing daily operating room schedules and patient chart review. Dr. Flynn has also established the US Anesthesia Partners Preoperative Clinic in Las Vegas, Nevada, and continues to be an active consultant in it. Dr. Flynn practices OR and obstetric anesthesia and is a member of both the hospital Quality committee for Carson Tahoe Medical Center, and the Quality Medical Committee for US Anesthesia Partners Nevada, along with serving on the Committee for Robotic Surgery. He is also a state delegate of the Nevada State Medical Association. Dr. Flynn graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, and subsequently earned the degree of Doctor of Medicine from Stanford University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in Anesthesiology at Stanford University Hospital and Lucile Packard Children's hospital in Stanford, California. Dr. Flynn is a diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology, and most recently, earned an MBA from the University of Nevada, Reno with a focus in Operations Management. Darin is a foster parent for higher medical needs children, and enjoys aerobatic flying when away from the hospital.
