Susan Klacik, BS, CRCST, CIS, SHL, ACE, FCS, is the clinical educator for the International Association for Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management (IAHCSMM). She is the IAHCSMM representative to the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI), a member of the AORN Guidance Advisory Board, and an international speaker and author who has managed central sterile departments for more than 35 years.
