Cindy Kildgore, MSHA, BSN, RN, CNOR, is perioperative services director for the operating rooms, holding rooms, and postanesthesia care unit at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She was previously a circulator, team leader, manager, and assistant director in perioperative services at Vanderbilt. One of her passions is process management and assessing failure points to ensure safety and efficiency.
