Nicole Washington, BSN, BS, RN, CMSRN is an Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse at Temple University Hospital, a level 1 trauma center, in Philadelphia, PA. Nicole has been an operating room nurse since the completion of the Bridge to the OR program at Temple University Hospital in May 2018. Her surgical specialties include neurosurgery, plastic surgery, oral and maxillofacial surgery, and otorhinolaryngology. Previously, she was a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse, a position she maintained for over 3 years. Currently, Nicole's interests lie in exploring the effects of educating floor nurses of surgical positioning in efforts to improve the care of the post-operative patient. For leisure she enjoys trying new restaurants and watching movies with her husband and their four children.
